Time : Every other Sunday 9.00 Am to 11.00 Am. The Sunday School is to provide children with an opportunity for Buddhist education and culture. The aim of the Institute is to instill some moral principles based on the proven teachings of the Buddha Gautama with a religious environment. The Purpose To make children familiar and happy with the Buddha, (the Dhamma) the   Sangha, Buddhist places of worship such as temple and Chaithya (pagoda). To teach them basic Buddhist culture and ritual practices such as bowing down and participating in a group Puja. To teach them memorize some gathas in Pali. To help them learn how to appreciate goodness and the accompany of good people. To instil discipline, respect and harmonious nature in them by collective activities and rewards. A star chart shall be maintained to encourage the children to participate in the lesson.
