Hello there,

I have finally got all the toys together I want to send ! I decided to go to Walmart and buy as many stuffed animals as I could afford--and I asked them for a discount. They gave me 10% off, which is very appreciated.

So I would like to mail these boxes to you today Priority Shipping so they will make the next shipment. They are fairly large but not very heavy. How much should I include for postage to defray the costs of you shipping them on DHL?

I have now three big boxes. Would you like all three or do you have a suggestion where I should send another one directly?

Again, thank you sooooooooooo much for all your efforts; I can tell it is really making a difference over in Sri Lanka!!!

Oh yeah!!! We are on the same thought here then. I am so glad I contacted you, even though I was feeling sort of sheepish about it. I will go through the great big box and get it all ready to go and try to send it to you this weekend. The poor stuffed animals are literally stuffed in the box, but it is good because they don't weigh very much.

This makes me feel happy. Just to know that the children will have something to hold and maybe feel a little bit more secure.

Many of us here also thinking the same way, how to help more. I think you will be happy to hear that we started a "toy drive" just today after hearing horror stories, how kids were effected after loosing their parents. Dear Secretary, Dharmapala Institute,

I am embarrassed, but want to know if I can perhaps make a donation for the tsunami victims of a different sort. You see, I have given all the money I feel I can for right now, and still, of course, I feel I want to do more.
I am sitting in my home in Las Vegas and thinking about all these children, you know. The ones who are hurt and scared and need comfort in so very many ways. And then I was thinking about this very large box I have in my garage full of stuffed animals of all shapes and sizes, and I was wondering if perhaps you could use these stuffed animals to take to the children so they have something to cling to when they feel they have nothing else. They are mostly brand new and are in great shape; they have been my beloved stuffed animals for so many years, but I just don't think I need them as much as these children do.

I know right now the needs are so great that cash and medications are your priorities. But I was just thinking perhaps this small thing would comfort a small child.

If this is not something you can use, that is fine also. I just thought perhaps it would help.
