Our Sunday School - Daham Pasala

MISSION  STATEMENT

The Sunday school, better known as the “Daham Pasala” in native parlance, creates an environment in which to inculcate the nurturing message conveyed in Buddha’s teachings to our younger generations. The by-weekly teaching sessions also teach the young children to speak, understand, read and write the Sinhala language. The objective of this endeavor championed by a spirited set of members of Dharmapala Institute is to provide the necessary religious knowledge base to the youngsters, and ensure that they have an imprint of Sri Lanka in their grown up identity. Our sincere hope is that equipped with these experiences, the next generation will enrich the society in which they live.
