Letter of Acknowledgement from Sarana Padanama!

 

On behalf of Sarana Padanama, I thank Dharmapala Institute for all the donations that will be channeled to us for relief work for Tsunami victims.

As requested by Dharmapala Institute these funds will only be used for the long term rehabilitation of people affected by the disaster.

The funds will specially be used to :-

1. Build Homes.
2. Build Schools (If the Govt. funds building of schools the monies earmarked for schools will  be used to build homes).
3. Purchase equipment, vehicles, tools etc., necessary for house building programme.
4. Provide temporary and immediate rehabilitation of orphaned children and to establish a children's center to fight malnutrition and to provide psychosocial support and education.

Sarana Padanama has already started the first step of the house building program in the village of "Talpe" in Galle District. We will provide regular updates of the progress of the program and account for expenses of the funds provided by Dharmapala Institute.

We wish the committee of Dharmapala Institute, the members and all donors good health, peace and prosperity and express our sincere gratitude for helping us to rebuild the homes and lives of the Tsunami victims.
